Why won't my charger go in all the way?
The most common cause is lint, dust, and pocket debris that builds up inside the charging port over time. As it compacts, it blocks the cable from seating fully. In most cases a professional cleaning solves the problem completely — no replacement needed.
What's the difference between cleaning and port replacement?
A cleaning ($25) removes debris from the port using specialized tools — it works when the port itself is undamaged. A replacement ($85–$140) is needed if the port is bent, corroded, or physically broken. We always start with cleaning before recommending a replacement.
How long does the repair take?
A port cleaning typically takes under 30 minutes. A full port replacement takes 1–2 hours depending on the model. Both are done same day when parts are available.
My phone charges sometimes but not always — is that the port?
